4. Yes, you may request a second FOB for a refundable fee of $15.00.  Top >>

5. Yes, keep your FOB. It will remain active for the following year UNLESS renewal is not made within the 30 day renewal period. Then it will be deactivated.  Top >>

7. For Manheim Township residents, the first dog is $35.00 and each additional dog is $15.00. For non-residents, the first dog is $55.00 and each additional dog is $25. There is also a one-time refundable fee of $15.00 for the FOB (electronic key) with each new membership. A second FOB may be purchased for $15.00.  Top >>

8. Yes. Renewal forms are mailed out at the beginning of each month, according to the member's anniversary month. (We are considering online renewals in future.) You will have 1 month to return the completed form along with your dog's immunization record and the yearly fee. After 1 month, if you have not renewed, your FOB will be deactivated.  Top >>

9. You will receive a renewal form in the mail at the beginning of the month of your renewal. Please complete the form and mail it with the required information for your dog and appropriate fee.  Top >>

10. Yes. When the board receives 3 reports from 3 different people (except in more serious attacks) the member will be expelled immediately. Do not let anyone into the park who does not have an active FOB.  Top >>

11. Yes. There are 2 dates set aside each year when the dog park is open to the public. Please refer to the calendar of upcoming events for those dates.  Top >>

12. No. The dangling legs of infants can look like dog toys to dogs that have been running and playing. Should a dog knock down an adult an infant could be injured. The Overlook Dog Park rules state that no children under the age of 5 are permitted in the park. This is for the saftey of the child or infant.  Top >>

13. NO! Non-members or deactivated members may attempt to enter the park in this fashion. You may be allowing an aggressive animal, or one that does not have proper immunizations, into the park. The Overlook Dog Park Board has determined that letting in people and pets who do not have their FOB presents an unsafe situation for other members and their dogs. Members MUST have their own key to gain entry. If they have forgotten it or their spouse has it, they MUST retrieve it before gaining entrance.  Top >>

14. Because Overlook Dog Park is only open from dawn to dusk, nighttime lighting is not required.  Top >>

16. The FOB security deposit if refundable within 60 days of termination of membership. After that the board will consider it a donation to the dog park. 17. The Manheim Township Municipal Building is located at 1840 Municipal Drive, where the police station, baseball fields and soccer fields are located. You can turn onto Municipal Drive from Oregon Pike and Roseville Road.  Top >>
